On the morning of June 27, Jingzhou Development Zone held the centralized signing activity for 16 investment promotion projects of the second quarter, with total planned investment of 10.71 billion yuan. Zhou Xiangyang, deputy secretary of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee and leading secretary of the Party Working Committee of Jingzhou Development Zone, witnessed the signing of the contracts and delivered a speech.

On behalf of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee and Jingzhou Municipal Government, Zhou Xiangyang expressed his warm welcome to the entrepreneurs present. He said, since Jingzhou Development Zone was established 30 years ago, Party members and cadres have always deemed service and development as their responsibility and sought common development along with entrepreneurs. A number of enterprises have grown up and gone global from Jingzhou. The five leading industries have continued to grow bigger and stronger, laying a solid foundation for the city's industrial development. The just-concluded Hubei Provincial Party Congress has endowed Jingzhou with new development missions. As the main battlefield, the main position and the main engine of the city's development, Jingzhou Development Zone should bravely undertake the mission of faster and higher-quality development, uphold the concept of respecting, valuing and caring business people, and strive to be a good "servant" for businesses. Relevant departments should continue to provide quality services to ensure that the contracted projects will be implemented earlier, completed earlier, put into production earlier and bear fruits earlier. Zhou also expressed the hope that entrepreneurs will further increase investment, actively publicize Jingzhou, introduce more enterprises to settle in Jingzhou, and participate in the building of a high-quality development demonstration zone in Jianghan Plain.

It is reported that the 16 contracted projects are of high quality and strong driving force, covering the five leading industries of Jingzhou Development Zone, i.e., smart home appliances, new energy auto parts, electronic information, biomedicine & chemical, new energy & new materials.
